Meghan Markle Has Compromised on some of The Royal Wedding Features -- Wanted More Quiet Affair

ROYAL fans will have the opportunity to visit Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's wedding venue as the Royal Family opens the 17th century estate to the public.

Frogmore House will will be open to guests from June 5 to 7 - just 16 days after Meghan and Harry have a royal knees up there at their evening reception after tying the knot on May 19 at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, Berkshire.

The 17th century royal retreat is a stone’s throw from the chapel and will open for a charity benefit for three days where cash will be raised for the National Garden Scheme, the Armed Forces charity SSAFA, and Prisoners' Education Trust.

The white house was the setting of the bride and groom's romantic first dates and where they got to know one another better within the privacy of the ground’s walls before announcing their engagement in November.

Divorcee Meghan is said to have made compromises for the ceremony, which she reportedly wanted to be a “much more private” affair than Kate and Prince William’s.

The couple had to bow to public demand rather than have the more exclusive wedding they wanted.

The compromise itself centred around the carriage ride, due to leave St. George’s Chapel at 1pm and take a route around Windsor Town, according to a statement from Kensington Palace.

Prince William to be Prince Harry's Best Man at his Wedding in May

Kensington Palace confirmed earlier today that William will cover the important role at the May wedding. Kensington Palace tweeted:

“The Duke of Cambridge is honoured to have been asked, and is very much looking forward to supporting his brother at St George's Chapel, Windsor on May 19th.

” Prince William also briefly spoke about his newborn son. When asked about the name he and Kate will give to the fifth-in-line to the throne, he said he was “working on that one”. Click link for full post from EXPRESS.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Attend Reception in London for Invictus Games

Harry, 33, and his bride-to-be will meet servicemen and women from both Britain and Australia, some of whom have previously competed in the international sporting event.

The couple will also learn more about preparations for this year’s games at the reception hosted by Malcolm Turnbull and his wife Lucy at Australia House on Saturday. More than 500 competitors – made up of sick and injured military and veterans – from 18 nations are expected to compete at the Invictus Games in Sydney between October 20 and 27.

It is expected that Prince Harry, who is patron of the Invictus Games Foundation which oversees the delivery of the tournament, will travel to Australia for the event with Ms Markle, who will by then be his wife.  Read More from EXPRESS.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Request Donations to Charities in Lieu of Wedding Gifts -- No Gifts Please
