Harry and Meghan Letter with White Powder Sent to Kensington Palace Considered a Racist Threat

MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry are on high alert after a letter containing white powder was sent to their Kensington Palace residence.

Scotland Yard have launched an investigation after the letter, containing a substance purporting to be anthrax, was addressed to the royal couple.

The letter was intercepted before it reached the couple, who will marry in May, but it sparked a major security scare over fears the powder was anthrax - a deadly infection.

Specialists were rushed in to inspect the material. Meghan, 36, and 33-year-old Harry are understood to have been informed of the incident.

Officers were called in on February 12 - a day before a package containing powder was sent to the Palace of Westminster.  Read More From EXPRESS
